We are a Charity and Social Enterprise specialising in re-use.
Our principal aims are:
To Divert Waste From Landfill
A significant amount of perfectly good products that we use everyday in our homes and businesses ends up in landfill labelled as "Waste". Our aim is to prevent this!
Through our expanding range of projects across the UK, we are sorting, repairing and refurbishing products in order to maximise their life and use.
In 2010 we stopped over 500 tonnes of Furniture, Domestic Appliances and Carpet from entering landfill.
To Support individuals & communities.
Our products are used to help families furnish their homes, and to support small businesses, charities and local community organisations with valuable equipment at minimal cost.
To Assist people into work.
We also deliver a wide range of Employment related programmes for DWP, Job Centre Plus and the Probation Service, providing support ,training and employment opportunities for the unemployed. Many of our current team have participated in these programmes and have remained with us, helping to grow our business and to help others benefit from their experience.
Products and Materials
Enterprise Recycling handles an increasing range of materials from our collection services and from donations including: Sofas, Beds, Mattresses, Bedroom Furniture, Office Furniture, WEEE , Carpets & Carpet Tiles, Books, CD's, DVD's & Videos.
